Think this video describes it well.
- Step 1: Grab a pair of dumbbells and hold above head with arms straight. Dumbbells should be directly above shoulders. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Step 2: Begin exercise by bending to the right side as far as you can. Do not twist upper body. Face forward and bend to the right side as far as you can and then raise back up to starting position.
- Step 3: Bend to opposite side and return to starting position. Repeat, alternating back and forth for each repetition.
Bruce Lee paid strict attention to side bends.
